Nanutarra Roadhouse

We just stayed one night at Nanutarra Roadhouse and Caravan Park. It was $30 a night. At first I was wishing for the luxury of a caravan park but it was actually quite nice to get that real outback feeling. As you will see from the photos my kids felt the same way. They have never seen red dirt before. Ahliyah laid down on her back and smothered herself in the stuff, Akira followed suit. There are miners who stay in onsite accommodation otherwise known as Donga's. They were well behaved though so it was no bother. Take your own food if you can as the food is rubbish and will send you broke. A large chips was $11.95. We saw a couple of hawks and brought some fantastic laser lights that light up the trees in the outback with a laser show from a guy that imports them. It was a real treat for the girls.
